Firewall or a proxy server
If you access SonrayTrader from your place of work, it is highly likely that you will do this through a firewall and/or a proxy server; even some private users now use such devices. In order for SonrayTrader to communicate securely with our server(s), through a firewall and/or a proxy server you need to have a special "port" opened. Please ask your systems administrator to open " Port 1001" for access to the server " mitssimul.iitech.dk ". This port is used for encrypted communication with the trading server.
This must be done before you download the demo!
Problems with download
The advantage of our "standard" installation is that it only downloads files that are actually required on the target computer, and therefore the download can be considerably faster (especially on slow lines), compared to the alternative installation.
The "standard" installation may however have problems with:
Proxy servers that requires authentication.
Proxy servers with faulty file caching implementations.
If you have such problems, you can download the SonrayTrader as one large file (4.1 MB) from this link:

Problems with Java
In some cases, users experience problems with receiving charts and data. The common cause is most likely to be an old version of Java. Another way to ascertain if the Java could be the issue is to determine the operating environment and how old it is, older systems are likely to have this problem.
Also, any error messages relating to Microsoft VM are likely to be Java related. VM stands for Virtual Machine.
If you have such problems, you can download this link to upgrade your Java; don't forget to reboot the machine following the upgrade.
